At inne, we have seen firsthand how women’s need for female health education and accurate fertility insights have been underserved. So we made it our obsession to use the best of science, tech, and design to bring actionable scientific insights into female health.

We are an interdisciplinary team and have developed our first innovative biotech product which enables women to analyse fertility hormones in their saliva.
With this insight, we want to follow our mission to help women tune into their bodies and make informed decisions about their fertility, sexuality, and overall female health!
We are pushing the boundaries of science, technology, and design and are guided by our values. In 2022 alone, we will be adding new hormone detection in our product, opening up our product to cater to women of different ages, and providing even more female health insights.

As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at inne you will:
  • Work closely with and support our award winning design & science teams to assist in R&D projects, driving hardware development and manufacturing challenges.
  • Be responsible for CAD files, Technical Drawings and BOM versioning.
  • Have the opportunity to work hands on with all components of the inne minilab:
    • inne READER (DFA, DFM of consumer electronics) 
    • inne STRIP (DFA,DFM of our biosensor components)

  • 4+ years experience in Mechanical Engineering (preferably consumer electronic products i.e.handheld/portable device) 
  • Experience in Design for Manufactuing (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing, part revisions and validation.
  • Experience building prototypes to validate function, manufacturability, and robustness (3D printing technologies, soft-tooling etc)
  • Proven ability of designing parts for injection molding of conventional and/or bio-plastics and following up FAI, tool trimming etc. from idea to volume production.
  • Ability to work closely with Design, Operations and Engineering Teams including External Suppliers in a seamless manner. 
  • Experience in 3D Computer Aided Design packages including SolidWorks or similar
  • Comfortable to own CAD files, technical drawings, BOM / part revisions, part validation and to implement changes in collaboration with our suppliers.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to act as an advisor on best practices as it relates to process and part design, tooling, or production needs.
  • Familiarity with printed circuit board technology is a benefit.
